Centerpieces

Whether they are called banquet tables, farm tables, king's tables or feasting tables there is no denying their recent popularity. And they are not just for rustic environments anymore.  We dressed this table with a gold sequined runner, Gold Mercury compote filled with Roses, Rannuculus and Lizianthus.  Gold Chalice votives and gold mercury votives were added to provide a soft ambient glow to the tables.

This stunning Balinese themed celebration brought these colorful parasols to our inventory. 3-tier umbrellas in Orange and Fuchsia surrounded with votives and complimentary color Rose petals.

An array of different size and types of tables gave visual impact for the guests. Here we see the Feasting Tables dressed with runner, Gold Manzanita trees dripping with crystal strands and hanging votives, Lotus flower votives and a scattering of Rose petals.

Planning a beach themed event? Try this unique design on for size.......Beach sand lines the bottom of this large square vase along with Seashells and bleached driftwood. The floral accents bring color and interest to the otherwise static display.

Our black glass vase was customized to look like dice for this Casino themed charity event. Beautiful Freedom Roses sit atop black reeds that are bound with delicate coils of gold wire.

Sleek Black acrylic candelabras are stunning on this mirror topped table. The base of the candelabra features stunning Red Roses, Hypericum Berries, Tulips and variegated foliage.

The first photo shows centerpiece decor for the furniture group's coffee tables.  Burlap and lace wrapped jars created the bookends for the antique books on display and were flanked with copper lanterns lit with LED votives. The clouds of Baby's Breath softened the otherwise hard lines in this Steampunk Industrial Chic setting.

High boy cocktail tables were illuminated with our Copper Candlestick under glass with accents of Copper wire, the soft glow of the Edison bulbs created ambient light to each table.

And finally, the seated cocktail tables held a vignette of Victorian items: Antique books, locks and keys along with a miniature Steampunk Top hat displayed on antique lace doilies.

Our interpretation of a Steampunk Centerpiece. The vase was filled with copper wire coiled around Amber Edison bulbs and tiny LED fairy lights. The vase held a Victorian/Steampunk style corset laced top had decorated with Pheasant feathers and a large tulle bow with tails spilling onto the table top. The finishing touch was Steampunk goggles on the rim of the vase to complete the look.

Bright, cheerful and fun!  Sunflowers, Yellow Roses and Green Tricillium adorn this simple terra cotta pot.  Whimsy is added with the Manzanita branches and orbs of Crespedia.

Amazing mix of color and texture. The rustic weathered box is filled with Sunflowers, Heather, Delphinium, Hanging Amaranthus, Phlox and Baby's Breath.

Create an impact on your next dining table with these luxurious floral spheres; shown here in Orange and Burgundy. They can be displayed flat on the table or given elevation, as shown here, sitting atop our Silver Bliss candlesticks.

We had a blast creating these vineyard inspired centerpieces for this  Gala event.  Dining rounds were covered in Green and Natural burlap each to hold a different centerpiece. The center of the room held communal tables put together to form a long VIP dining experience underneath the lush grape arbor.  Below you will see the detailed photos of each of the sets we created. This ballroom was truly transformed into a vineyard......beautifully!

Wine tasting table set for Gala dinner. These communal tables were set under a lush grape arbor. Natural crates, candles, wine corks, pops of floral color, sparkling silver mercury glass votives, and grapevine tied this VIP table to the remainder of the room.

This centerpiece was the partner to our Cork Cylinders (below), same concept using the black lantern with a pillar candle and wine corks to help convey the message of the vineyard.

Wine cork cylinders

This vineyard inspired centerpiece was part of an event to create a vineyard inside. The base of grapevine with pops of Purple and white floral surrounded a grouping of cylinders which held LED pillar candles and wine corks. Additional ambient light was brought to the table center with silver mercury glass votives for a little sparkle.

Our Silver Bliss Candlesticks hold a flame less LED pillar candle for soft ambient light, accents of white cubes with White Hydrangea created unity amongst the different table looks. Accents of white frosted votives, seashell spheres and frosted Sea Glass conveyed the Coastal theme with grand elegance.  Photo credit:  Christie's Photographic Studios

Light up the night with a trio of Crystal Cylinder sleeves.  These sparkling sleeves cover a simple glass cylinder vase which can hold either pillar or floating candles. The look is completed with a trio of 4x4 silver mirrored cube vases bursting with a generous display of White Hydrangea.  These sleeves are also wonderful with floral atop the crystal sleeve.  Photo credit:  Christie's  Photographic Studios

Acrylic glow tables were designated as VIP tables. The tables were not all that was glowing on this tablescape adorned with cylinders of submerged flowers, floating candles, votives, elegant Cala Lilies, Silver  Snakeskin chargers, acrylic napkin rings and coastal accents. Sometimes the classic designs are the best. This exhibit hall turned ballroom was beautiful with our Orange centerpiece of Alstroemeria, Snapdragons and Roses was exquisite. A few well placed Gold Mercury votives give glitz amd glimmer.

Hinged boxed covered with world travel stamps hold exotic flowers in primary colors. James Storii Orchids, Cymbidium Orchids,  Delphinium,  Roses, and Protea with Croton leaves are picture perfect for multi-day use with groups for breakfast and lunch.

Trio of gold candlestick votives and Mercury glass are paired with a gold cube and Red Roses.

Start your event with cocktails....the small cube design of Hydrangea, Dahlias, Mokarra and Cymbidium Orchids on cocktail tables set the stage for the larger design that will showcase the center of the dining table.

Lining the inside of a classic cube vase with slices of citrus gives a fresh, aromatic lift to this design of Hydrangea,  Roses and Cymbidium Orchids.

Our gold candle sticks adorned with floral can be used as a run down long banquet tables or grouped on round tables for a sense of clean, classy yet understated opulence. Perfect for a Gatsby event!

Long tables are the latest trend and call for more than a single centerpiece. This edgy rock and roll inspired centerpiece meanders down the center of an acrylic table. Aside from the floral accents, drum  sticks, CDs, guitar picks, tubes, and knobs invite guests to interact with each other and the decor.

Create visual interest and impact on your tables with a trio of cubes. The three different heights
showcase the Rose, Iris and Hydrangea nosegays. A subtle blue and white palette bring color to
the hotel white linen. Unity is created by the use of cobalt blue gems and the band of green.

Organic and natural feeling tabletops are very trendy. We answered the call for something unique yet stunning with natural driftwood adorned with Hanging Amaranthus, Cymbidium Orchids and Succulents. A soft glow was brought to the table with cylinder vases holding pillar candles which took the
harsh edges off the driftwood.

Cocktail tables are increasingly popular with groups trending toward events on a flow. This piece was designed for cocktails and utilized citrus colors and accents.  Small cube vase is lined with sliced lemons and topped with a Tropical Fatsia leaf to accent the Orange Gerbera Daisies.

Cocktail tables deserve awesome floral too!  White cube vase holds a wire sphere with a Mango Cala seemingly balancing on the top.

This will provoke conversation at your next cocktail party or just add an avante garde design element to the cocktail tables.

HOT HOT HOT describes this colorful centerpiece! Beautiful Dendrobium Orchids, Circus Roses and Hot Pink Gerbera Daisies make a statement.

The "driving force" for this cocktail table centerpiece was Racing!

Cala Lilies and Antherium frame this theme centerpiece featuring a race car displayed on asphalt as it races toward the checkered flag.

Theme floral can be a challenge; Cheryl's Distinctive Creations, Inc. talented design staff are masters at conveying a theme without being "cheesy".

Rich greens and citrus colors gave the tabletop just the "pop" needed on this natural linen. Green Antherium, Dendrobium Orchids, Cymbidium Orchids, and wheatgrass gave the tropical feel needed.  The fresh cut citrus was an added bonus providing a fresh and clean aroma for this outdoor event.

black_red_decoThis is fitting for a small dining or cocktail table. Black ultra deco container with a nosegay of Red Roses and Hypericum Berries. The collar or looping Lily Grass gives movement to the design and creates visual interest.

This container has been discontinued, will be designed in equal substitution.

If golf is the theme, this is the perfect centerpiece.  The container is an actual driving range golf ball bucket lined with natural moss and accented with practice balls and tees.
The tropical floral display could be substituted with any variety of flower combinations.

This was used at the Children's Miracle Network Golf Classic in the VIP sponsor tents and the guests, many from out of state, knew they were in Florida when they saw this
tropical design.

This golf ball planter is perfect for either cocktails or dining tables.  A natural looking design of Gerbera Daisies along with Bear Grass cut and arranged to give the appearance of turf is novel yet sophisticated. Daisies are available in a host of colors to fit any decor.

Traditional Eduardian centerpiece design of Confetti Roses, Alstromeria, Rust colored Asiatic Lilies and Seeded Eucalyptus.

Simply elegant Red Roses in a Pave' design collared by lush black Ostrich feathers.  Designed for a Speak Easy themed event, the 20's were glamorous yet understated as evidenced with this centerpiece which fit beautifully into the room decor.

This is a classic floral design of a Pave' dome featuring Circus Roses.  They are displayed in a beautiful gold compote container which compliments the centerpiece perfectly.

Royal tables are increasingly popular table configurations for events.  Maximum visual impact is given by using groupings of either candlelight or floral or a combination of both.

Perfect for cocktail tables....this glass bowl lined with a variegated leaf, filled with wheat grass and topped off with four simple Roses is simple yet elegant and budget friendly.

Italian themed centerpiece is based in a natural grapevine wreath. Charlotte Roses accents of dripping grapes, gilded pomegranites and baquettes are perfect for an Italian buffet event.

Grand Opening for a South Carolina development required two complementary centerpieces. What's more Southern than Magnolia, Roses, Cotton Bolls, Queen Anne's Lace and Ivy?

A traditional white urn with gold trim is the base for a southern plantation floral arrangement.  White Hydrangea, Queen Anne's Lace, Roses, Tulips, Lisiantius and trailing Ivy are accented with fresh Green Apples for this outdoor event in Bluffton, South Carolina.

When the budget doesn't allow for full blown themed room decor, bring the theme to the table.  Most of the evening is spent at the dining tables so make an impact on the guests with floral displays like the one shown here.  The client supplied us with these logoed miniature helmets which we nestled amongst this bed of florals that are "fresh as a Daisy".

This centerpiece brings fire to the table without flame.  An artistic display of Birds of Paradise blossoms and stems make this a perfect arrangement for a hot themed event!

Groupings are a new trend in event design.  Centerpieces are frequently made up of groupings of vases, cylinders or other materials to form the visual center of the table.  This trio of vases shows three different sized vases each holding a different floral that complements the linen colors.  Unity is achieved to make this a successful grouping with the use of color.

Clustering is a floral design technique that gives visual impact to a basic centerpiece.  Green Antherium, Orange Unique Roses, Purple Stock, Green Hydrangea and Red Hypericum Berries are clustered in their own quadrants in the lush bed of Lemon leaves.

This tablescape featured boxes of freshly planted herbs which held upright poles of Birch and that were joined down the length of the tables and used as a drying rack for bunches of fresh herbs, grains and pomegranates.  The air was filled with the scents of Rosemary, Lavender, Thyme, Basil, Dill and Oregano.

This tablescape is for a "Chef's Table" event. These centerpieces become an interactive part of the evening.  Based with Wheat Grass accents of kitchen utensils,
loaves of bread, dried peas, bean and rice and flowers give dimension and visual interest to this elaborate table set up.

This sleek and sophisticated display of three flowers speaks volumes.  Perfect for cocktail tables, it's shown in a small rectangular cube vase which holds natural pebbles, a layer of Bear Grass, Orange Mokarra Orchids and artfully manipulated Eggplant Cala Lilies.

This classic pave' dome of Leonidas Roses speaks of elegance and opulence.  Displayed in a gold compote the collar of Seeded Eucalyptus give a draping effect.

This centerpiece was created for the Orlando WOW Awards. A tall glass vase was topped with a ring of multi colored Roses; from light Pink to Black Magic surrounding a 7' tall black bamboo structure that was hung with hand strung Rose petal Wisteria blossoms and hanging votives.  The design was finished by placing cylinder vases layered with black gems and Rose petals around the tall vase each holding a votive candle. Additional votives throughout finished the total WOW look!

This companion piece to Rose Fusion was featured in a High Tech Night Club theme party. Three simple Gerbera Daisies were manipulated to bend and flow from the waves of metal screening which sat atop a Gathering Vase with clear test tubes affixed to the mesh displaying silver and clear bead strands. These centerpiece designs will definetely spark conversation and were considered "way out of the box!"

Rose Fusion - the bamboo reed armature holds a dozen perfect Roses in three different colors. Motion is brought to this design by weaving Lily Grass through the reeds along with small hanging beads. Depth is achieved by placing it on a mirror giving the arrangement a whole new dimension.
